ABOUT ME
My name is Julieanne and I'm 19 years old. All I have to say is I complain far too much for my own good (or for anyone for that matter).
I'm into video games. I play them quite often and I love every minute (omfg a female gamer the world is ending). Since my job gives me crappy pay, I don't have something fancy like a 360 or PS3 (I don't have the desire for a PS3 anyway), but I'm saving my money hoping I can buy a 360 soon. I have Xbox, PS2, PC games, PSP, DS, and Wii (though it's my sister's). You can usually finding me playing on Xbox Live (GT: truemornings) or on Guild Wars (a MMORPG). I like pretty much any type of game; FPS, Horror, RPG, MMORPG, Racing, etc except for sports.
Another hobby of mine is photography. Since I suck balls at drawing, painting, graphic design (somewhat), and other artistic abilities, I turned to photography.
Cooking is another fun activity of mine. I'm no chef, but I always like to try to make food that's difficult (not something like creme brulee). I'm fond of cooking Mexican, American, and Italian. I'd like to try Middle Eastern cooking and Chinese, but I haven't got around to it yet. If you ask nicely, I'll cook for you.
Movies; I love movies, though I complain about them as much as anything else. I see them in the theater at least once a month if not more (unless nothing good is out). I guess my favorite genre of movies are action/adventure, comedy, chick flicks (I'm a girl, get over it), blockbuster movies. My favorite movies are Edward Scissorhands (I'll watch any movie with Johnny Depp cause I'm sucker for his acting and sexiness), 300, and The Lord of the Rings (I have yet to meet a person who doesn't like LotR).
One more thing; I'm Wiccan. If you don't know what it is, Wikipedia has a nice article for you to read. If you're too lazy to read, then I'll give you the short version of it. Wicca is a nature-based pagan religion. We are peaceful people and we love nature. Technically, were witches. No, were not ugly old hags with warts who fly on broomsticks at night. Men and women are both called witches. While it's not required, many Wiccans practice witchcraft. We don't put hexes onto you or your sister, we don't sacrifice animals and drink blood, and no, WE DON'T BELIEVE IN SATAN. Here's why a lot of Christians and dumb people in general think were Satanists; We have two main gods, The God and The Goddess (they have many names, but common is The God and The Goddess and The Lord and The Lady) and we view each one as important as the the other. The God is usually depicated with having horns (antler horns usually) because he the man of nature. What do people think of when we see horns on some god? DING DING, SATAN. This is wrong completely, we are not evil people, we don't want to hurt you, and we don't want to convert you. Another thing is we are not a cult. A cult is defined as having a main 'leader'. We have no leader, unless you count yourself. We don't have a central book (like The Bible) but many Wiccans have a Book of Shadows (abbveriated as BOS). A BOS is kinda like a journal/diary about your jounrney through Wicca and your connection with The Lord and The Lady. Usually it's also filled with rituals, spells, etc that we make our borrowed and used. So please, if you have any sense, don't send me a message saying I'm going to hell, because I don't believe in it, and I don't think any religion is the 'right' one. People can believe whatever they want to believe. If Wicca doesn't bother you whatsoever (or you're even interested in it), you get brownie points. I don't mind if you send me a message asking more about it, because I'll be happy to answer your question(s).
Enough of my complaining. If I didn't scare you off, feel free to send me a message. Honestly, I'm a nice person, I just have a lot of opinions on things. :) |
