my hearts on the line
maybe next summer
true love will be mine
so im fighting bakk ma tears
looking out ma window
hand and hand
i see a parade of happi couples
lord whats wrong with me
i thought i had her in my dreams
but with ma eye we see
yet the mind do we decieve
i know of only yesterdae
with the memory of you still strong
and then it fades
and then i linger on
and then i see you
deep in my heart again

maybe next summer
i'll get it 2gether
take long walks on the beach
watch the sunsets
look up at the moon
gaze at the stars
take bakk the romance
that is now lost.
